UKUHLASELWA ukugula esakhula kube nomthelela omkhulu ekutheni agcine esenza izifundo ezimayelana nokubaluleka kokudla ngendlela eqondile ukuze ukudla kukwazi ukukwelapha. UMnu Mnqobi Khoza (33), ongowokuzalwa KwaBhejane, eNseleni ngaphandle kweRichard’s Bay, uthi lona bekungewona umkhakha abehloze ukufunda kuwo kodwa uthe uma ehlaselwa wukugula wagcina esenesifiso sokufunda kabanzi ngokudla nendima okuyidlalayo emzimbeni womuntu nokuthi ukuze kukwelaphe, kumele udle kanjani. Ube esenza iziqu ze-Food Science and Nutrition (Extension and Rural Development), wenza iziqu zeHonours ngonyaka ka-2016.

WELULEKA IZIKHULU NGENDLELA YOKUDLA

Namhlanje uKhoza usebenza nabantu abaphezulu esifundazweni ebaluleka ngendlela efanelekile yokudla ukuze bahlale besesimweni esikahle sempilo.
Kulabo asebenze nabo ubalula ngisho uMdlokombane, iSilo uZwelithini kaBhekuzulu. Uphinde wasebenza kakhulu noke waba nguNdunankulu KwaZulu-Natal, uMnu Willis Mchunu, yiNdlovukazi yeSilo esesikhotheme uMantfombi, naye okhothame ngemuva kokukhothama kukamyeni wakhe. Kuyimanje uKhoza uphinde asebenze eduze neSilo esibusayo uMisuzulu kaZwelithini, athi uqale ukusebenza naye ngemuva kokuqokwa kwakhe ukuthi uzothatha isihlalo.
Njenamanje uKhoza uqashwe yisibhedlal iKhombe esiseNkandla, lapho esebenza khona njenge-Food Service Manager.

UKUGULA ISIKHATHI ESIDE KUMHOLELE KULO MSEBENZI AWENZAYO

Ingakho kubalulekile ukuthi uma uthenga ukudla ufunde ngemuva ukuthi kuyikho ngempela (organic), nokwakhiwe nje. Kubalulekile futhi nokuthi uqonde ukuthi izinto ezinjengoshukela nosawoti, zibuye zibizwe ngamaphi amagama ngoba kwesinye isikhathi ungathi ushukela kawukho kuleyonto kanti ubizwe ngelinye igama,” kuschaza yena.

UHAMBELE IZIKOLE BEFUNDISA NGOKUBALULEKA KOKUTSHALA

Uthi-ke uma eqeda ukwenza iziqu zakhe usebenze nenhlangano engenzinzuzo ebeyihambela izikole ifundisa abafundi ngokubaluleka kokutshala. Le nhlangano kaMnu Sandile Mdlethe, ibizwa ngokuthi yiTshalathi Youth in Agriculture eyayixhaswe yinkampani yezezimbiwa phansi i-RBM. Ubesebenza esibhedlela esiseNkandla iKombe enza i-internship.

Uthi ngoba uyise iNkosi Mbuyiseni Khoza (owayebambile), wasebenza kakhulu noMdlokombane, kubelula ukuthi abe nobudlelwane nabaseNdlunkulu kaZulu nokwenze wagcina eselekelela neSilo esikhona esihlalweni njengamanje.

UCHAZA NGOKUBALULEKA KOKUHLANZA UMZIMBA (DETOX)

“Kubalulekile ukudla ngendlela kanjalo nokuhlanza (detox), umzimba ngezinto eziphephile ukuze kuphume okuhleli emzimbeni okungadingeki nokungagcina kwenza uba nezifo eziningi.
Uthi ukusebenza KwaMqemane, kumenze waba nesifiso sokuthi azakhele eyakhe imikhiqizo eyenziwe ngokudla kodwa ekwazi ukulekelela ezintweni ezahlukene.
Onyakeni odlule ube eseqashwa kusona futhi isibhedlela saseKombe, lapho ethi umsebenzi wakhe ukusebenzisana nabasekhishini, ukuqinisekisa ukuthi iziguli zidla ukudla okunomsoco.
“Njengoba kukhona neziguli ezinezifo ezahlukene, kubalulekile ukuthi zidle ngendlela kanjalo neziguli ezikwi-coma nazo kumele zibe nokudla okuzinika amandla adingekayo emzimbeni,”kusho yena.
Uthi abantu abaningi inkinga yabo ukudla kakhulu ukudla okungalungile, nokudla isikali esisuke singadingwa ngumzimba.
“Kuncane kakhulu ukudla okudingwa ngumzimba ukuze ube namandla, kodwa sigcina sidla kakhulu. Okunye okusishaya kakhulu ukudla i-starch kakhulu, kanti kufanele kube yizitshalo ezibaningi epuletini, i-starch sibe sincane kanjalo nesishebo. Uthi umzimba uyawadinga amafutha kodwa kumele wazi ukuthi uhlobo luni lwamafutha afanele nokuthi aphekwayo yimaphi angaphekwa yimaphi.
Kwabesifazane uthi ukungadli ngendlela kuyaholela ekutheni ama-hormone agcine engekho esimweni (imbalance), nokuholela ekutheni bagcine behlaselwa yizifo ezithile.
“Kwesinye isikhathi kuyenzeka ukuthi indlela aseyiyo ama-hormone sekunzima nokuthi aye esikhathini ngokufanele, kunzima ukwehla emzimbeni nokunye okuningi,” kusho yena.
Uthi uma kunesifundo athanda ukusidlulisa ngokubaluleka kokudla ngendlela uthi abaningi bayakhohlwa ukuthi kabaphileli ukudla kepha uma bedla badlela ukuphila.
“Kumele sibuyele endleleni okhokho bethu ababephila ngayo ngokudla ukudla okutshalwe phansi ngoba izifo eziningi zisuka epletini” kusho yena.
