IMIBIKO yaleli phephandaba yokuthi iSilo uMisuzulu kaZwelithini sizokhehla ingoduso yaso uNdlunkulu uNomzamo “Masesi” Myeni, ishiye abaningi bedidekile njengoba bethi bona bazi ukuthi umuntu onengane akakhehlwa.
Isazi samasiko uSolwazi Sihawu Ngubane, osebenza e-University of KwaZulu-Natal, uthi umkhehlo ungomunye wemikhuba eyenziwa ngokwehlukana kwezindawo.
“Kufanele sikhumbule ukuthi kwezinye izigodi kunemikhuba noma amasiko enziwa ngendlela ehlukile, kuya ngomthetho wenduna nenkosi yakuleso sigodi ukuthi bafuna kwenziwe kanjani. Umkhehlo uyefana nomcimbi wokuthembisa (engagement), njengoba umkhwenyana esuke ethembisa ingoduso yakhe ukuthi uzoyishada kumnyama kubomvu,” esho.
Uthi umkhehlo kawenziwa kabili. Uthi uma kukhona owesilisa osewake wakukhehla phambilini, ngeke usakwazi ukuphinda wenzelwe wona.
“Kufana nentombi uma seyake yakhipha ucu, kayikwazi ukulukhipha kabili. Uma ike yalukhipha kakwaze kwahamba kahle lapho kuleyo nsizwa ebeyiyinike lona, kayibe isalukhipha okwesibili uma isiqoma futhi. Nawo-ke umkhehlo, ingoduso kayikhehlwa kabili,” esho.
Kuzokhumbuleka ukuthi njengamanje esigodini saseMakhonyeni, eJozini, kuyaphithizela ngamalungiselelo njengoba ngomhla ka-24 kwephezulu, kuzoba nendumezulu yomcimbi lapho iSilo sizokhehla uMaMyeni.
Ngemuva komkhehlo, kuzokuba nomgcagco KwaKhangelamankengane ngomhla ka-26 kuyona le nyanga. Ngokusho kukaSolwazi Ngubane, emkhehlweni kusuke kuhanjiselwa umakoti izipho okuyilapho egqokiswa khona, afakwe nomhlonipho.
“Ukuba kuseyisikhathi sakudala ngabe ugqoka isidwaba ukukhombisa nezesheli ukuthi useyingoduso yomunye umuntu,” esho.
Kuzokhumbuleka ukuthi ukuvela kwezindaba zokuganwa kweSilo nguMaMyeni, kakwehlanga kahle kwabaningi njengoba kwabikwa ukuthi usenezingane.
ISilo sakubeka kwacaca ukuthi uMaMyeni ungowaso, ukhethwe yisona, abantu mabangazikhathazi ngobudlelwano babo. Kulungiselelwa umshado kaMaMyeni nje, sekuvele imibiko yokuthi iSilo siyahlukanisa nomunye woNdlunkulu baso ongadaluliwe ngoba kuvikelwa izingane zabo.
